The InBody Test provides a comprehensive view of body composition balance. Body water, proteins, minerals, and body fat, which are the components of the human body and closely relate to the status of our health.

InBody scans make use of advanced bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) technology. The process involves standing on an InBody machine with bare feet and holding onto electrodes, which send a small electrical current through your body which is harmless and you cannot feel anything, but it allows the machine to accurately measure the resistance in the tissues of your body.

InBody technology provides you with a clear understanding of your body’s composition and it can track changes over time, which can be used to achieve your health and fitness goals

After your InBody scan, you will receive a detailed report of your body composition, including recommendations for exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle changes that can help you to achieve your health and fitness goals. This information will form the baseline starting point from which you can compare future results towards a goal of optimizing your health.

During your appointment at Airside Medical Centre, a healthcare professional will guide you through the InBody scan test. This information provides us with a snap shot of the “inside” structure of your body composition pertaining to fat, muscle, water distribution, your BMI, Basal Metabolic Rate and a lot more that allows us to develop a personalized treatment plan that can help you achieve your health and well-being goals.
